“Write Your Life” (Book)

Inspire and guide those who run youth arts programs for at-risk youth. This book looks at The Possibility Project’s theater program for foster youth; and Represent, a magazine written by youth in care and published by Youth Communication. Young participants offer advice to adults who run arts programs, and describe how they’ve transformed victimhood and pain into a sense of agency and accomplishment. The script for The Possibility Project’s show “A Place for the Night” is reprinted in full.
